WasteLess Application for reduction of food waste

The multidisciplinary team composed of Luis Castillo Góngora, student of Mechatronics Engineering, Daniel Aguena and Francisco Mondoñedo, student of Industrial Engineering, Kuri Matayoshi and Ivana Li, student of Arts, Alejandra Vilcahuamán, student of Architecture, Lisset Reyes, student of Law and David Freidenson, student of General Science Studies, ranked third worldwide in the international 24-hour innovation event.  Its proposed application is purported to reduce food waste; it employed the computer vision to generate information about the products –date of expiration, quantity-, moreover, it sends notices when the products are going to expire and it various several recipes to prepare.
